It is very much about the experience for me, on and off the river. Rafting and the Outdoors has been part of me since I finished school, now lucky enough to have made a complete lifestyle from it.
Best water moment: Must be my decent of the Colorado River through the Grand Canyon. To be given the opportunity to row a Oar Raft through one of the wonders of the world over 16 days, is for sure my best water moment. And must thank my employer and kit sponsor Pete Astels of Peak UK for this.

I have learned many lessons in my life, some easy, some hard, one thing that I do know for sure is that, spending time with 5 other men and a shed load of rubber, is a good thing!!

Comments: I enjoy being on the water whatever the activity and I love competiting against other teams and against the elements. I get really excited by seeing different parts of the world so I have been amazed by the path the rafting journey has taken me on.
Best water moment: I think during the world championships this year I have had my best moments on the water. We have really been able to turn all of our winter training into possitive results. It really feels like we are up with the very best and I look forward to future events with a great feeling of belief.

Name:- Adam Norfolk
Year of Birth : 1980 Occupation:- Fire Fighter Position in Raft:- Front Left Favorite Rafting destination:- Zambezi, Africa. Everyday on the river is a mission, the travel, the walk in and then you have to contend with the huge crocodile infested waters?!
Years on the water:- 11
After beginning my paddling career in freestyle kayaking, I started out with the rafting boys five years ago. I love the team aspect of rafting, plotting and planning our way down the river trying to make the hardest moves possible. Rafting has taken us to some far a way countries away from the tourists, so you really get a feel for a country.
best moments: There is no better feeling than winning a head to head sprint or 'cleaning' a slalom run, we managed both of these in bosnia, but it feels just a special during winter training because it usually means we can get off and get warm!!
